Without understanding the basics, participants may find these advanced techniques frustrating. The angler maintains direct contact with the flies using a long leader and sighter, carefully controlling depth, drift speed, and tension. The goal is generally to imitate aquatic insects drifting naturally through a trout’s feeding lane.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eEuro Streamer Fishing\u003c\/strong\u003e uses that same long-rod, tight-line control but introduces movement and a more aggressive presentation. Instead of simply managing a natural drift, the angler actively manipulates the streamer with jigging, pulsing, swinging, leading, or stripping movements.
